Poppy - Scarlet Macaw - Ara Macao
This is Poppy. She is a Scarlet Macaw and she hatched in 2015. She came to us from a family that had suffered the tragic loss of a family member. They decided to move cross country and were not able to take their birds with them. Poppy is very silly and has quite the personality. She can be very loud and is sometimes nippy, but we're working on that.
